There seemed to be this surgence of innovation. Even simple mundane inventions like vinyl players with horns or the buzzer in a gym. It was highly logical but simple and I often feel there’s a lot to gain by looking back at this stuff and evaluating current complex problems through that lens of simplifying and removing not adding. Also a lot of this stuff has remained unchanged for the most part whether it’s a traffic light, fire hydrant, or other everyday items that most wouldn’t consider “tech” this day and age.
We also just launched a Marvel Watch list party and kicked things off with Agent Carter, and as someone working in tech, it was refreshing seeing what passed as a “modern gadget” back then.
